Five Weeks Later, 41-Year-Old Still Missing: Virginia State Police

A 41-year-old from Newport News is still missing, five weeks after his disappearance, officials said.

James Allen was last seen on August 13 at 5:30 a.m. in the 7500 block of River Road, according to the Virginia State Police.

Law enforcement said his disappearance could be extremely dangerous for his health and safety.

Allen was described as 5'10 white man, weighting 165 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, authorities said.

He has a distinguishable scar above his eye and another on his chin, police detailed.
